General Info
With the high speed development of building industry and architectural decoration industry, China’s building and building material industry have developed rapidly. At present, China has become the world’s largest manufacturing , consuming and export country in building materials industry. After China’s accession to the WTO, the global economic integration has been further strengthened. Yiwu, leading to the world bridgehead ,has gained rapid development in various fields of hardware and building materials industry as well as the international and domestic trade. At present, hardware, building materials and decoration materials industry in Yiwu have presented their strong development tendency, which has attracted a great many consumers both from home and abroad to purchase commodities here. The prospect is extremely optimistic. At the same time, the expansion of the foreign trade business is also very optimistic. For example: In Yiwu Goods and Materials Market, the foreign trade transaction volume in ceramic, bath, lighting, stone material account for around 30% of the entire transaction volume. The commodities have mainly sold in the countries of Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa. With the expansion of Yiwu urban construction, the transportation of large-scale cargo passing in and out the market is limited. In order to cultivate pillar industries, enlarge the market and promote taste, the local government locates the radiation to the surrounding areas according to the requirements on the construction of modern logistic market. Combining the development tendency of the architectural decoration industry, in business atmosphere, the government will set up the trade area and concentrate the parts on the whole in order to make Yiwu building materials market become the largest building and decoration materials collection and distribution center in the middle western regions of Zhengjiang province. On the basis of the original international trade city and building materials market, Yiwu will build a five-star standard modern building materials center and building materials exports base. The establishment of market will provide the buyers from the United State, Canada. European Union, the Middle East and other countries with easily centralized purchasing.
